For the 2025 Golden Globes, celebrity hairstylist Renato Campora styled Selena Gomez, who was nominated for two awards (Best Performace by a Female Actor in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role – Motion Picture) using the NEW Great Lengths Essenza and Aria Tape-In Extensions.

See below for the breakdown on how Campora used Great Lengths Tape-In Extensions to create this look.

BREAKDOWN

Inspired by icons Sofia Loren, Lauren Bacall, and Marilyn Monroe, Campora created a look with the epitome of glamour, sophistication and chicness in mind.

  1. Campora began by washing the hair and blowing it out in sections, using a round bristle brush to dry the hair upwards with a round bristle brush to create a shiny, voluminous foundation for the look.
  2. Using the same 2-inch sections as before, Campora curled the bottom layers of hair with a 1” curling iron and the top with a 1.25” curling iron, pinning the hair in place while it cooled for 15 mins. Using each of these curling iron sizes allows the top layers to lay beautifully on the tighter bottom waves.
  3. Campora then removed the pins and brushed each section out.
  4. Next, he sectioned out diagonal parts and placed the NEW Great Lengths Aria Tape-In Extensions close to the hairline that lay completely flat to the head, followed by two Essenza Extensions to add the perfect amount of density that is needed to create balance.
  5. He then brushed these pieces out and combined together to begin sculpting the wave and adapting it around the face. The side part is brushed forward while the other side backward to open the face up and allowing for the neck and jewelry to be seen.
  6. Finally, he applied a pea size amount of glossing oil to ends for added shine.
