Located in the ethereal white and silver Sawan Pavillion, a key focal point of the resort’s design (which is inspired by the Thai vision of heaven), is Sati Spaan award-winning wellness oasis featuring signature Sati massages with indigenous materials, authentic Thai massages, ayurvedic therapies, heritage facial treatments and more. 

Sati Spa’s philosophy is rooted in knowledge of Thailand’s traditional healing practices—these ancient therapies are used in conjunction with modern approaches to rejuvenate guests with unique, immersive offerings.

Sati Spa has a focus on promoting mindfulness, peaceful living, and a balanced mind, body, and spirit.

 Highlights include: 

  • Well-Being Journey: Tai Chi, a moving meditation with gentle exercises, to improve blood circulation followed by an herbal detox soak, a detoxifying body scrub and finally a detox massage (3 hours, 45 minutes)
  • Well-Active Journey: Early morning power walk on the beach followed by a Muay Thai session and finally a Sati Kala Four Hands Massage utilizing a one-eyed coconut shell (2 hours, 30 minutes)
  • Sati Kala Four Hands Massage: A signature massage using a special one-eyed coconut shell (believed to provide protection against evil and attract happiness) is used to massage the main energy pathways of the body, then two therapists apply warm coconut oil to soothe the body followed by a stone face-lifting massage with warm oil, finished by an Indian head massage with warm coconut oil (90 minutes)
  • Back Relief Massage: This massage begins in ‘hermit doing body contortion’ posture to relieve lower back pain, followed by an herbal Ayurvedic remedy known as Kativast – warm medicated oil infused with herbs – that is applied along with black gram paste (60 minutes)
  • Juniper Berry & Cedar Wood Scrub: Using niosome technology, a HARNN berry and cedar wood body scrub gently exfoliates the skin, followed by marine and algae extract high in antioxidants, and lastly mangosteen powder to nourish the skin
  • Wellness Expert: Holistic Wellness Expert, Toby Maguire, resides at the spa to offer expertise in psychological well-being through a combination of meditation, hypnotherapy and life coaching; he also specialized treatments like Chi Nei Tsang abdominal massages and Qi Gong.
