Salt Lake City-based hair extension brand Laced Hair launched their new haircare line, LHC, in February of this year. As an extension wearer, stylist, and CEO of an extension company, Gadegaard-West knows that so many clients have to “suffer through summer by dealing with discolored extensions, or just not fully enjoying time out in the sun because they have to figure out creative and careful ways to keep their hair up and off their face/shoulders to not mess up their (expensive) extensions.”
She goes on to say, “I wanted to create a sunscreen that was safe for the face and extensions that allows people to enjoy sun-filled moments. We’ve been seeing the negative effects that ingredients like avobenzone and octocrylene have on extensions, so it was a no brainer for me to formulate one for my new haircare line, LHC.”
