The client pictured above visited us and wanted to restyle his curly hair, but wasn’t sure what look to go for. He had brought photos of a classic mullet with him and was thinking about a new look incorporating a fade and mohawk style on the top.
The starting point for men’s curly hair at our BS7 Bristol barber shop is always a thorough hair consultation. We ask about how often the hair is cut when it was last cut, and what the current haircare regime is.
The client above hadn’t been to a gents hairdresser in Bristol for over 12 months, and his wild, frizzy curly hair needed hydration. Moroccan Oil was applied.
We delivered a low fade with curls on top. The look was tapered on the sides to accentuate the mohawk styling, and to give a strong, bold new look overall.
Further hydration was provided with EVO Liquid Rollers curl Balm to provide hold.
Cocktailing this product with Moroccan Oil provided hydration and hold, with the client being advised during the consultation to apply Moroccan Oil daily as part of their new haircare regime, and EVO Liquid Rollers to retain hold while outdoors.
