When you think of powerhouse women who can break down a complex epidemiology study and create the most flawless set of brows you’ve ever seen, one name rises to the top — Zuri Dale.
You may have first spotted her on BET+’s College Hill: Celebrity Edition, where she schooled stars like Big Slim and NeNe Leakes at Texas Southern University’s College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. But what the cameras didn’t fully capture is the multidimensional magic behind this scientist-turned-beauty mogul.
Long before she became TSU’s campus epidemiologist and a respected instructor, Zuri was already dominating a different kind of art — the art of beauty. Known as Houston’s go-to guru for permanent brows, Zuri has mastered both the science of skin and the artistry of micro-pigmentation, bringing her clients not just a fresh look, but a boost of confidence that lasts.

Her journey began with a lifelong love for makeup, an artistic eye, and meticulous attention to detail. That passion, backed by a B.S. in Biology from Texas Southern University and two Master’s degrees from Texas A&M, transformed her into a perfectionist in both the lab and the beauty chair. She takes pride in creating work that not only looks incredible on day one but heals beautifully over time — because to Zuri, skin health is just as important as style.

In 2019, she earned the PMU Women of Color Award for Best New Artist, and she hasn’t slowed down since. She’s been named SHEEO of the Year (2022) and recognized as the Best Speaker in Science of Permanent Makeup (2022) — accolades that reflect her rare blend of technical expertise and creative vision.

Her impact has reached beyond Houston, with features in Essence Magazine, AfroTech, and airwaves on 97 The Box. Yet, at the heart of it all, Zuri remains committed to elevating others, whether she’s educating students on public health or enhancing a client’s natural beauty.
Zuri Dale is proof that you can be both a scientist and an artist, a scholar and a trendsetter, a boss in the lab and in the beauty world. And in her world, excellence isn’t an option — it’s the standard.
