Jane Handcock is having a full-on glow up moment. The Bay Area songstress, now signed to Death Row Records, celebrated the release of her sophomore album It’s Me, Not You and its accompanying short film with a star-studded party at Snoop Dogg’s legendary Inglewood compound, and she looked flawless while doing it.

Her curls were the highlight of the night: fluffy, bouncy, and full of life, perfectly matching her bright, outgoing personality. Jane has long been known for her effortless glam and curly hair inspiration, and this event was no exception—her hair framed her glow, giving us the perfect mix of red-carpet chic and down-to-earth Bay Area energy.

The vibe? Unmatched. Guests were treated to interactive beauty experiences: a nail station for the mani-obsessed, a tooth gem station for sparkling smiles, and an airbrush booth keeping everyone camera-ready. Naturally, Snoop Dogg and Boss Lady worked the room, snapping photos and bringing that signature compound energy. And the food? Only the compound can serve comfort food this good, servings of baked macaroni, fall-off-the-bone ribs, juicy chicken, fries, and creamy mashed potatoes floating by courtesy of attentive servers.

DJ Hed absolutely killed it, spinning a Bay-inspired set and jam after jam that had the whole crowd moving—shoutout to Fuzzy for demanding that hometown flavor for Jane. The guest list was stacked with tastemakers, artists, creatives, and long-time supporters, all there to celebrate Jane and her artistry.

Between the music, the food, the fashion, and the beauty moments, this was more than a release party, it was a celebration of Jane stepping fully into her power. And if her curls are any indication, Jane Handcock is moving forward big, bold, and beautifully.

The culture moves fast, but my ink is quicker.
