Once upon a time, in Ontario, California, an 8-year-old girl picked up her pen and decided she wasn’t waiting for permission to tell stories. That girl became Pynnderella, and that pyn became her wand.

By 2013, she was already in motion. Writing for FM Hiphop under Cherry Martinez, she began carving her lane in music journalism. At the same time, she was “blogging” for Persona Magazine and Damaging the Streets under DJ Damage, long before copywriting became the industry buzzword it is today. From interviewing culture shapers like Miss Diddy LA and Skittlez, the powerhouse behind Cupcake Mafia, on The Sweet n Low Show, to curating content that reflected the pulse of her community, Pynnderella was already proving her gift for amplifying voices others overlooked.
Soon after, her words reached new stages. She partnered with 360 Agency, lending her pen to campaigns for Essence Festival, Hublot, and early Fashion Nova projects — sharpening her copywriting craft while getting a front-row seat to how storytelling moves culture and commerce. And when she covered her very first red carpet at the 2013 Grammy Awards, she knew the fairytale had only just begun.
From Hair Press to Cultural Power
Hair became the entry point, but never the limit. What began as beauty writing soon grew into cultural commentary. Pynnderella’s voice stood out, sharp yet playful, honest yet magical. Whether she was covering artistry, fashion, or beauty, she gave every moment the weight of a modern-day fairytale.
That same voice caught the attention of Hype Hair, where she began contributing in 2025, continuing a legacy of amplifying Black beauty while layering her own spin: unapologetic, stylish, and distinctly Pynnderella.
The Birth of PYNN’d News
The true shift began in 2019, when Pynnderella launched a personal blog that would later blossom into PYNN’d News. By 2023, PYNN’d News had transformed into a cultural platform with a clear mission: to depict Black artistry and creativity as luxury, legacy, and high standard.
PYNN’d News isn’t just news, it’s culture, couture, and conversation in one. Every story is crafted to remind readers that our narratives deserve the same prestige as Vogue, The Times, or Vanity Fair.
As Pynnderella puts it: PYNN’d News is about taking what’s ours and writing it like it’s royal.

Writing the Modern Fairytale
Pynnderella’s career is proof that impact comes from daring to tell the story differently. She’s not just a copywriter, not just a journalist, she’s a curator of culture. From agency projects to red carpet coverage, from her PYNN’d News platform to her Hype Hair bylines, she’s building more than a career. She’s building a legacy.
And 2025 has already been a standout chapter. This year alone, she has covered the BET Awards show and red carpet, the Empire Brunch, Snoop Dogg’s Iz It a Crime album release party and his Icon Award celebration, as well as The Marathon Clothing flagship grand opening. And tonight, she’ll be on the red carpet again, this time for Ellaé Lisqué’s 10-Year Anniversary and Birthday Collection show in Hollywood.
Today, she also serves as Press & Media Manager at Tronix Network, expanding her influence beyond storytelling into strategy, ensuring that culture not only gets documented, but positioned, amplified, and remembered.
And like every great fairytale, the story is only getting started.
