A Day in the Life of Sherette Fabi-Parker
7:30-8:00 am
To kick off my day, I start by showing gratitude to my supporters on social media. I dedicate this time to responding to any emails, DMs, and social media notifications. This is a perfect time to celebrate those who inspire me! I also like to spend some of this time just sitting with my thoughts and manifesting for the future.
9:00-10:00 am
I do strength training and/or cardio three to five times a week. As hairstylists, brand owners, and leaders in our industry, we give a lot of ourselves…creatively, physically and emotionally. It’s so important that we spend time reviving our mind, body and spirit.
10:00-11:00 am
I spend time with my rescue pittie, Luciono (or Chani as we call him!). Chani LOVES going on morning walks with me and playing in the park. I’m grateful every day for him and his companionship. No better way to show my love than throwing his favorite toys around!
12:00-8:30 pm
To the salon I go! I always like to start the day chatting with my team and going over our goals and plans for the day. These goals include: any content creation for the salon, including our individual accounts or brands we work with, appointments we have scheduled, any new techniques or products the salon is using, and any questions the team may have. Now it’s time to prep for our first appointments by gathering our supplies and setting our stations up.
As for myself, I spend the day educating my clients on new products we are using and how to achieve their hair goals, answering their questions, and just teaching my team to be the best at what they do.
8:30-9:30 pm
We spend this time cleaning and resetting the salon for the next day. I like to spend this time with any end of day paperwork that is needed and to go over any questions or concerns the team may have.
9:30-11:00 pm
My favorite part of my day, sitting down and having dinner with my incredible husband! We use this time to decompress and discuss our days. It’s a great habit to take the time to ground yourself after a busy day, whether that’s dinner with your partner or a bath and a glass of wine.
11:00 pm-sleep
After I enjoy my down time, I get back to work reviewing our business financials and evaluating our next goals and plans…this a MUST every day when owning a business.
I like to spend about two hours learning on social media about new techniques, styles, ways to keep my brand current, etc. This research is so important in planning for the future of not only my brand, but also my social media presence. During this time, I also edit and post content.
Finally, I reset, refocus, and set my intentions for the next day. Now it’s time to manifest what I want for the future and rest.
